The Eddy Concert Band: Celebrating 90 Years of Music

When Saginaw businessman Arthur D. Eddy died in 1923, he left a will that was hailed throughout the state as a model of philanthropy. It specified that eventually half his estate would be transferred to a trust focused on addressing Saginaw's need to support for community charities, providing loans for local college students and creating and maintaining a city band.

 

This display that celebrated 90 years of music in the Saginaw area.
