The Historical Society of Saginaw County (HSSC) greatly appreciates the contributions our donors make to sustain our mission. To protect the privacy of our donors, we maintain the following policies:

HSSC collects and uses personal information such as name, address, phone number and email address when a donor voluntarily provides it to us.

HSSC keeps a record of each donor’s giving history. This information is kept on file for IRS purposes and is also used for internal analysis and record keeping and to acknowledge donations and inform donors about upcoming HSSC activities.

In addition, HSSC does not sell our donor lists to other organizations. When making a donation, donors may request HSSC list them as anonymous or not at all in our publications. Donors may request to not be solicited in the future. Donors may request to not receive informational mailings such as our newsletter.
