What is the Time Machine: Mobile Museum Experience?


The Time Machine offers interactive explorations of Saginaw County history through a classroom experience. Our Education Coordinator stimulates the learning environment by examining Saginaw County's history through showcasing artifacts, and providing engaging hands-on activities.




What is the cost?


The Time Machine is a free program offered to schools within Saginaw County. School districts outside of Saginaw County are welcome to host the program for $50 per classroom and round trip mileage of $1 per mile.




What grades are the Time Machine Programs intended for?


The Time Machine covers many grades and Michigan Benchmarks and Standards in English (ELA), math, science and social studies. Why should I schedule the Time Machine to come to my school?


Research has shown that students have different learning styles, hands-on learning being one of them. Also, hands-on experiences enhance a student’s ability to comprehended and retain information, therefore helping a student to succeed in school and with state assessments.
