Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Castle Museum! We have many areas available for volunteers to work, from our special events to leading tours through our galleries to helping maintain our gardens and grounds.

If you have free time during a week day or weekend day, and are looking for a rewarding, engaging experience, then volunteering at the Museum may be for you. Our volunteers donate their time by bringing their skills and life-experience to support the Museum's mission.

Current Opportunities

  • Tour Guides: Docents lead tours for adults and children at the museum and History on the Move. As tours are on a scheduled basis, docents have a flexible schedule. The committee holds a monthly meeting on the second Tuesday of each month. Desirable skills include: must be enthusiastic and cheerful, good oral communication skills and interest in local history. The museum provides training, so prior experience is not necessary. Please contact Tom Trombley if interested in this opportunity.
