Celebrating 50 Years of African Culture
The exhibition is closed. Please enjoy the information about this past exhibit.
The Saginaw African Cultural Festival is recognized as the oldest ongoing Black Arts Festival in the United States. Started in 1969, it was originally known as the Inner City Arts Exhibit. The name was changed in 1989 and today it is held at the Morley School Grounds, 2601 Lapeer Street. Change and adaptation have allowed the festival to thrive and serve the Saginaw community over the last half century.
