Theodore "Ted" Konieczka was one of the thousands of Saginaw citizens serving in the military on August 14, 1945, the day after Japan's surrender was announced.

 

This small exhibit focused on a sailor's experiences of the end of World War II and Saginaw's V.J. Day.
