The Rotary Club of Saginaw celebrates 100 years.

 

Officially chartered on February 1, 1914, it was the third club in Michigan to be chartered and 93rd in the nation. The club is still thriving 100 years later.

 

Rotary International is a worldwide service organization that brings together business and professional people to promote high ethical standards, provide humanitarian service and work toward goodwill and peace in the world. The club’s motto is service above self.

 

The first Rotary Club was formed in Chicago in February 1905. Rotary Club of Saginaw was chartered nine years later becoming one of the first 100 chapters formed.
