HO Scale Model Railroad

The museum is home to a large HO scale operating model railroad with more than 1,000 feet of track, two freight yards, many industries, and realistic scenery. Located on the lower level of the Castle Museum, this exhibit is fascinating to more than just railroad buffs. More than 10,000 visitors have come to see the trains and learn more about model railroading. The Saginaw Area Module Modelers are responsible for the train and welcome new members to the group. For more information about the club, contact Bill Falkenberg at 753-7216. It is the goal of the Saginaw Area Modular Modelers to preserve the history of railroading through modeling and running a working railroad.
