The Saginaw NAACP - 90 Years of History
The Saginaw NAACP - 90 Years of History
As the NAACP celebrates its 100th anniversary, the Saginaw branch is not far behind as it marks its 90th year in existence. To commemorate these milestones, the Museum has created an exhibit that will include artifacts, the history of the organization and accomplishments of African Americans in the Great Lakes Bay Region. We have an interview with Henry Marsh, the first African American mayor of Saginaw, on display that is quite compelling. Mr. Marsh will be speaking at the Castle Museum on Tuesday, February 23rd at Noon.
