The Castle Museum is housed in an 1898 National Historic Registry building modeled after a French chateau. Click here to learn more about the building’s history. It has three private meeting spaces for all types and sizes of events, or you can rent the entire building. Events held at the Castle include weddings, corporate meetings, private parties, and lectures. In 2005, the Historical Society of Saginaw County acquired a portion of the former Jacobson’s department store just across the street, which also is available for events and is called the Castle Annex.
If you are looking for a unique location for your next business retreat, class reunion, school dance, fundraiser, or private party, consider the Castle Museum. We offer excellent customer service, ample parking, security, changing exhibits and competitive rates, including special rates for non-profit organizations. Our amenities include: catering, audiovisual equipment, a Steinway grand piano, and linens.

Spacious and inviting, Centennial Hall features adjustable lighting, handsome wood floors, a large one-touch projection screen, floor-to-ceiling arched windows, velvet drapes, a view of the Castle garden and even an optional disco ball.

meetings, presentations and gatherings.

Our most popular space, this elegant room features chandelier lighting, polished
hardwood floors, a service kitchen, large arched windows, a grand piano and a built-in projection screen.

Newly renovated, the Annex is a 3000 sq.ft. space in a former Jacobson's department store with limitless possibilities for receptions and offers a video viewing area with large screen TV, new restrooms, a welcome desk and two catering prep areas.
