American Girl is a line of dolls, books, and accessories based on pre-teen girl characters which focuses on various periods of American history from the viewpoint of girls. It has now expanded to include dolls and stories about contemporary girls. Click here for a full list of the historical American Girl dolls and a description of them. Several other companies also make 18inch dolls, making these types of dolls and accessories one of the most sought-after pre-teen gifts of their generation.
The Castle Museum of Saginaw County History has taken the stories and time periods associated with these dolls and turned them into an unforgettable history lesson series about our on county and state.
Do you know someone that loves their 18 inch dolls? Then consider attending one of the American Girl Club parties at the Castle.
We offer these fun parties on Saturdays throughout the year. Most parties cost $5 per person or $3 per person if you are a member of the Historical Society.
